Alison Agather

FACETs Coordinator & Social Science Program Competition Manager

Alison supports the Weather Program Office (WPO) as a contractor for Science and Technology Corporation. She is the FACETs Coordinator and the Social Science Program’s Competition manager. Prior to supporting WPO, she was a Knauss Fellow and split her time between the Ocean Prediction Center, the NWS Office of Observations, and the Department of Transportation’s Committee on the Marine Transportation System (CMTS). Alison received her PhD in Environmental Science from Wright State University, where she studied chemical oceanography and limnology, and she received her undergraduate degree in chemistry and environmental studies from Gustavus Adolphus College.
