Management and Program Analyst: Field Delegate Contracting Officer, Contracting Officer Representative, Trusted Agent and DEIJA Lead

Claudia S. Womble is a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) III with NOAA’s Weather Program Office. Claudia is responsible for providing administrative, contracts, grants and SLA/IAA support as well as Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice and Accessibility to the mission of the NOAA/OAR/WPO.  She has over twenty-five years of successful Federal service.

Additionally, Claudia is a graduate of Federally Employed Women’s First Mentoring Program cohort (2022); Office of Personnel Management (OPM), Leadership Education and Development (LEAD) Certificate at the Executive Level (2022), NOAA’s premier leadership succession program, Leadership Competencies Development Program (2021)and Asian American Government Executive Network (AAGEN) Senior Executive Service Career Development Program (2018).  She is also certified under the Federal Acquisition Institute at FAC-C, Level III, FAC-COR, Level III and FAC-PPM Level I.  She is also the recipient of the 2021 NOAA Administrator’s Award in Leadership from the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS).

Claudia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Winston-Salem State University, a Master of Science in Procurement and Contracts Management, University of Maryland and a Master’s Certificate from George Washington University in Project Management.
