Social Science Program Analyst

Katharine (Katie) Fillingham is a contractor supporting NOAA’s Weather Program Office (WPO) as the Social Science Program Analyst. Prior to joining WPO, Katie served as a program specialist with the Consortium for Ocean Leadership, which transitioned to the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR) Center for Ocean Leadership in 2022, supporting interagency ocean science coordination and strategy development, scientific peer review processes, grants management, and outreach and communications. She received her Master’s Degree in Geology and her Bachelor’s Degree in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences, both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
