WPO is proud to share that members of our team have received 2025 NOAA Oceanic and Atmospheric Research (OAR) Awards. Steve Thur, Assistant Administrator of OAR, will recognize the award recipients during a ceremony on February 12.
Jordan Dale, Testbeds Program Manager, was on the Acquisitions and Grants Team that received an Employees of the Year — Group Award for Personal and Professional Excellence:
For exceptional contributions to the 2025 OAR Obligations Review Process; for receiving, reviewing, and processing all acquisitions, grants, and cooperative agreement obligation requests for the Line Office; and for providing timely support and guidance to ensure successful execution of OAR’s budget.
The PART Team, consisting of Abby Arnold and Castle Williamsberg, was also recognized with a Team Members of the Year — Group Award for Administrative and Technical Support:
For developing REACH, an innovative open science tool and workflow that makes WPO-funded publications, data, and code openly accessible and supports the transition of knowledge within NOAA and beyond.
