The Weather Program Office is pleased to share that Claudia Rojo, WPO’s budget analyst, has received the NOAA Silver Sherman Award.
Claudia was nominated by David Legler, director of NOAA Global Ocean Monitoring and Observing.
He notes that, for more than 13 years as a contractor and then federal employee, Claudia has exemplified extraordinary dedication to NOAA as a budget analyst. “Her incredible attention to detail, outstanding customer service, and award-winning efforts to maintain and oversee program budgets have been trademarks of her time in the Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Research,” he adds.
NOAA’s Silver Sherman Award program began in December 2015 for NOAA executives to recognize employees’ accomplishments above and beyond their normal NOAA responsibilities and in fulfillment of NOAA’s mission.
