Linden earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Meteorology from the University of South Alabama in 2007 and a Master’s Degree in Meteorology from Florida State University in 2009. After earning her Master’s degree, Linden managed a meso network of stations at the University of Delaware.  In 2017, she started work as a contractor in the National Weather Service. She worked on verification and validation at the Meteorological Development Laboratory (MDL) for several years, was the technical lead on the MDL contract for around half of that time, and moved to the Program Office in the Office of Science and Technology Integration for about 3 years, working in conjunction with WPO on the disaster supplementals.  Prior to joining WPO Linden was working on a University of Maryland/NOAA grant with NESDIS STAR.

Linden currently lives in Maryland with her husband, three kids, and three cats. In her spare time she enjoys traveling.
