The Office of Weather & Air Quality announces a funding opportunity for research projects supporting the overall mission of Hazardous Weather and Hydrometeorology Testbeds. Collaborative testbed projects shorten the transition time from meteorological research to useful operational forecasting tools. NOAA National Severe Storms Laboratory (NSSL) hosts the NOAA Hazardous Weather Testbed and the NOAA National Weather Radar Testbed. NSSL researchers also collaborate with the Developmental Testbed Center, the GOES-R Proving Ground and the NOAA Hydrometeorology Testbed. For more information on Testbeds, click here.
