Dr. Kandis Boyd, NOAA WPO’s Deputy Director, is the recipient of two prestigious accolades from the American Meteorological Society “For career-long efforts through mentoring, education, and community service to champion diversity for women and under-represented minorities to promote a more inclusive workforce.”
The AMS Council has also voted to elevate Dr. Boyd to the grade of Fellow of the AMS, which is the highest honor of the society.”
