Cherokee Nation Strategic Programs (CNSP) are teammates with the NOAA Weather Program Office (WPO) which supports world-class weather research to save lives, reduce property damage, and enhance the national economy. In pursuit of its vision and mission, WPO is seeking a CNSP Engineer/Scientist to provide project management level oversight and scientific guidance in planning and tracking related service under the guidance of the Severe Weather Observations portfolio lead, produce system improvements from concept to delivery and communicate task status and schedule changes promptly, be aware and recommend new and existing NOAA/WPO policies to improve R2O effectiveness.
