The NOAA Weather Program Office (WPO) is currently accepting proposals for FY25 Notice of Funding Opportunities (NOFO). These NOFOs will fund six competitions, totaling up to $12.8 million per year, to support the following program objectives and priorities: 1) Social, Behavioral, and Economic Sciences (SBES), 2) Testbeds, 3) Observations, 4) Subseasonal to Seasonal (S2S) forecasting, 5) Air Quality Research and Forecasting (AQRF), and 6) VORTEX-USA. Each competition is published on grants.gov.

- October 2, 2024: Deadline to submit Letters of Intent (LOI)
- October 18, 2024 (approximately): LOI Response
- December 2, 2024, 5:00 p.m. EST: Deadline to submit full proposals
