The NOAA Weather Program Office (WPO) Social Science Program (SSP) will be hosting a virtual September Series focused on sharing program guidance and best practices for proposal and budget development gleaned from recent competition cycles.
The first session will be held on September 23, 2025 from 2:00-3:30pm ET and will focus on the importance of and best practices for multiple proposal elements such as abstracts, curricula vitae (CVs), current and pending support, and data management plans. The second session will be held on September 30, 2025 from 2:00-3:00pm ET and will focus on a deeper dive into proposal budgets, including how to complete budget tables, a budget narrative, and standard forms as they relate to SSP’s programmatic requirements.
